- Both starting elevens come from the contemporary Scotsman report. Several initials or spellings remain uncertain. No missing first name is invented, and unresolved surnames remain event-scoped.
- The replay uses 45 minutes plus 20 minutes after the interval, with no added time. The Scotsman reports twenty minutes of the second portion; another report estimates about thirty minutes left. The 65-minute duration is an explicit reconstruction within conflicting approximate accounts.
- Foster’s halftime withdrawal is prescribed from the contemporary report. It is not an injury or a claim about future availability. No replacement or exact individual player minutes are invented.
- Raith’s rating sample reconstructs its ten season results as 17 goals for and 28 against; the secondary table’s printed 18 against conflicts with the grid. Corinthian’s accepted mixed-opposition team budget is retained. The cross-competition comparison is not statistically calibrated.
