A clean slate at Elyria Downs

Opening Stakes and Founders’ Plate move from January 12 to a Friday, February 2 target, allowing more betting tests and fresh race preparation. Pilot finishes are archived; official starts, wins and placings begin at zero. Fresh race cards and prediction markets must be prepared before play.

The season architecture

Four chapters. No invented fixtures.

A proposed structure that develops rivalries before the Cascade Derby, builds toward the three-jewel challenge, and leaves room for a finale. The Opening Stakes was played and verified as a replay, but is excluded from official racing because fan predictions were not launched. The three Triple Crown race names and venues are approved; their conditions remain unfinalized.
